I noticed that people say I am sorry more than they say thank you. The world is already full of useless excuses for making mistakes and letting it continue. I think it's about time we express gratitude towards others instead of apologizing just to excuse ourselves from whatever untoward is happening. It doesn't always matter whether it's our fault or someone else's. What matters most is we should focus more on how to return favors done and to highlight mutualism and respect. No more excuses.
