The Fall/Winter edition of What’s Up Weddings magazine has a great article on all things wedding invitations and we are excited that photos of some works of ours are featured in the article. One of our photos in the article shows the invitation suite we created for a wedding at the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum and showcases our drawings of the Lighthouse there, a sketch of the Inn at Perry Cabin and a hand drawn map of the area emphasizing the couple’s wedding “landmarks”. Many thanks to Laura’s Focus Photography and TPoz Photography for the great presentations of our wedding stationery ensembles in the article and big thank you to What’s Up for highlighting the subject of wedding invitations and including Cink Art! Congrats to fellow stationers Paper in the Park and Little Bit Heart for also being featured. We were honored to be chosen to design the wedding invitation and day of Stationery for Eric and Anushree’s Indian/American wedding which took place in Washington DC. These weddings have a lot of moving parts and days of wonderful events so the invitation was multi-faceted and loaded with information. The couple was great to work with - knowing what they wanted but allowing us to be creative as well and the invitation featured some of the Bride’s own hand drawings. We especially liked working with the tangerine, henna and red colors incorporated into the stationery and creating the most special cards which featured an Indian poem in both Hindu and English for each table at the reception. Check out these gorgeous wedding photos by Michael O. Snyder Photography. Best wishes to Eric and Anushree and their families and thank you for having Cink Art as your Stationery vendor!
